About this experiment & keyboard controls

A fictional, Millwall-inspired study of direct play, pressure and wide combinations. Dockside Athletic, Glasshaven Rovers and every player are invented. No official affiliation, real match performance or external data feed.

Space Play / pause · ← → Seek 10 seconds · V Camera. Tab reaches every control. The player menu provides keyboard selection. Drag the pitch to orbit. Reduced motion starts paused and removes camera interpolation. Mobile starts overhead.

Possession is timed from the event stream. Passes count completed events; score changes only at shot outcomes. Activity height is the share of sampled player activity, with a Gaussian footprint. Pitch control compares nearest-player distances. xG uses shot distance and angle; threat combines progress and lane clearance. All three are illustrative estimates, not calibrated predictions.

Coordinates retain Dockside attacking left to right in both halves for comparison. Playback has no stoppage time. Movement and outcomes are scripted, not a physics or offside adjudication engine. Turning point compares equal ten-minute windows, 58–68′ and 68–78′, including future match data when viewed earlier.
